Other Funding Options for Community Partners
The DHLW+M Early Childhood Area Board generally accepts applications in April with funding contracts to begin in July. Applications may include both Request For Renewal (RFR) from current contractors and/or Request For Proposals for new projects. Policy 4.9 Special Request for Funding-Extended Services and policy 4.9a Special Request for Funding-One Time Purchase or Single Activity provide guidance and instructions to individuals and organizations seeking funding outside of the regular funding cycle. Request For Proposal
The DHLW+M Early Childhood Area Board is currently seeking request for proposals to select the qualified applicants to coordinate and implement services and activities for families with children prenatal through age 5 in Des Moines, Henry, Louisa, Muscatine, and Washington counties.
