Request For Proposal
The DHLW Early Childhood Area Board generally accepts applications in April with funding contracts to begin in July. Applications may include both Request For Renewal (RFR) from current contractors and/or Request For Proposals for new projects. Policy 4.9 Special Request for Funding-Extended Services and policy 4.9a Special Request for Funding-One Time Purchase or Single Activity provide guidance and instructions to individuals and organizations seeking funding outside of the regular funding cycle. Preschool Scholarships
The DHLW Early Childhood Area Board funds preschool scholarships for children ages 3-5yrs and attending preschool programs meeting quality criteria. The scholarship program is coordinated by Community Action of Southeast Iowa.
